Just when I thought the river denial may start to become a dry creek bed, another DIM comes along to assuage what is in plain sight. Or isn’t, in order to make you pretend to see it. Mainly because they “protest too much”.
Or worse. They try to pretend an issue that has been clear as day since day one (POTUS Inauguration Day, 2021), only showed up after Biden’s SOTU. I am an admitted Johnny-come-lately practitioner, but even I have seen the VEEP-Harris-issue-can kicked down the road most of last year! Please click the link below. I wrote numerous essays about it; even painstakingly reading and posting my “favorite” conservative resurrectionist’s work:

has apparently run out of legitimate DEM platform election campaign topics, and has decided instead to gaslight us on VEEP Harris.Hey Scott. Here’s a short list of issues which may allow you to, in your words, “replace them with a different narrative, one that anyone paying attention would have written” instead of writing to hinder Biden or assign all that partisan blame you harbor on republicans.
Schumer’s shift away from pleasuring AIPAC…

Newsome as the best Biden surrogate; initiatives which oddly and unfortunately seem to always be squelched by the Harris staff. Mmmm…wonder why? No links provided…there are too many.😂
Newest Biden commercial. The best one made yet…and doesn’t even mention MTG or Dark Brandon! Add begins at the 5:32 mark.
Look.
It is common and easily resourced knowledge that most VEEPs have really done the sum of jack shit, with the only recent exceptions possibly being Johnson and Cheney.
could possibly name earlier VEEPs.The VEEP is a thankless feckless position in our executive branch. Which is yet another obstacle to Dworkin’s gaslighting project by the way.
The VEEP is a heartbeat away…
That’s obvious, though oddly never mentioned by Dworkin…because he knows that’s an interruption to the gaslighting process. Not to mention it scares the hell out of the largest voting demographic. My demographic. Independents.
It’s also as obvious as the wig on Trumplethinskin’s even thinner skull, VEEP Harris was a great choice in order to ensnare specific voting demographics - look at the numbers. However it’s an uncomfortable stretch to really place any credibility in her other executive branch outcomes, administrative or campaign. Even provided the obvious opportunities to act as a surrogate for Biden. Take for instance the debate with Rhonda Santis that Newsome energetically took on. Can’t have it your way all the time DIMS. Energy is not just reserved for the SOTU, or parades on sunny days only. Real leadership is also expected at 2 am during a hurricane. Or in Newsome’s case, stepping into the sewage exchange of the grande olde party.
Make no mistake. I am about as likely to not vote HARRIS / Biden, as is the likelihood that the 3/5ths stained electoral college system suddenly disappears overnight. Pretty sure by now, Dworkin would have gaslighted us on the latter’s impossible occurrence.
But why is Dworkin wasting time on talking up Harris like a Jets fan hoping for a Superbowl victory next year? Another virtue signal platform? I for one, am not impressed as an African American with a mother and sister and eyes to see Stephen from Django running for governor of one of the Carolinas. Scott’s Harris conjecture does not even bring ammunition for the much needed threat-to-democracy-rhetoric (more for your list of topics, Scott…real talk. Not that basic DIM base shit). Although Dworkin is not wrong about Harris’s demographics appeal in securing votes; an oar. But to deny other aspects of her dossier as more anchor is just more water for that river denial.
Want to know the real reason why DEMs fail to keep power in any of the three branches of power long enough so they don’t have to fix the plumbing again after the GOP clogs the facilities? Re-read Scott’s gaslight piece on Harris. Then ask yourself. Maybe it’s better for partisan DIM pundits like Dworkin to just remain radio silent on Harris, as per her example.
I want very much to be proven wrong about Harris. Not as much though as proving the actuarial tables wrong for Joe, so we don’t have to fucking find out who’s right or wrong about Harris’s POTUS credentials.

The media have decided on a narrative for her that’s highly biased (every powerful female politician is tarred as a terrible manager, either bitchy or too soft; have you ever seen an article about a male senator’s management style?), so it’s hard to know what she’s doing or capable of. The office holds no power. But we saw her as a Senator and on her presidential campaign. She’s not an idiot like other VPs we’ve seen, and her assignments have given her opportunities to establish relationships around the world. I think she demonstrates toughness and empathy, and whatever baggage she might have has surely been uncovered. I think she’s an asset. Who knows what a person would do in the role once they’re there? It’s always a risk. But we’ve seen her for almost 4 years and she’s not as ill qualified as Pence or Spiro Agnew who used the office for grand grift. Consider the risk when he was VP and Nixon was on his way out. He had to be taken down first.
I think its strange that we believe that a highly qualified lawyer (DA, California AG) and former Senator is an unqualified idiot. VPs are by the nature of the role boxed in by the Administration they serve in.
