I am coming to the conclusion that there are indeed parallels - Fall of Rome, Fall of USA.

Here is the AI response to a Google query about: lead and the demise of the Roman Empire.

"Yes, the Romans are widely believed to have unknowingly poisoned themselves with lead vessels, as they extensively used lead in their plumbing, cooking utensils, and wine storage containers, leading to widespread lead poisoning, particularly among the wealthy classes who could afford more lead-based items; this is considered a significant factor in the decline of the Roman Empire by some historians."

So... we have an abundance of lead in people (paint and pipes). But we have done the Romans one better. No two. Someday there will be an analysis of the insanely reckless experiment by humans on themselves. "Hey, guys. Let's see what happens if we blend lead, PFAs and Microplastics in the human body!"

We know what lead does. It dulls the ability to learn. PFAs? Just some cancer here and there and everywhere. Microplastics? Reduces fertility - sperm counts are dropping like lead weights.

But wait, wait. What is the combination of all this going to produce? I am having a Frankenstein weird movie moment. But don't worry, if you drink Fiji water, eat your own goldfish and seaweed from a tank in your basement...you'll be just fine.

BTW, thanks for the plug.
